Dumm geboren, nix gelernt.
Freistädter Straße, Linz,
obviously waiting for someone at the baker's, moved her car to a parking lot 'round the corner when she noticed me.
Europaplatz, Linz,
Blocking the bikelane and part of the sidewalk in Franckstraße right at the main entrance of the Marriot hotel.
Kollegiumgasse, Linz,
blocked by a parking car. While I took the pictures, the driver of the car obtained parking tickets from the vending machine, which is not on the pictures. Not on the pictures also, that there was a massive bicycle stand directly in front of the car's nose.
Steingasse, Linz,
blocked by a VAN. The driver jumped out to call me rude names, when he noticed me taking pictures.
Blumauer Straße, Linz,
... and the opened door is really necessary to cover the whole width of this bidirectional bikelane.
Schubertstraße, Linz,
... when having lunch break. Two men in the truck where watching me rather bored through open side windows. In the short time I needed to take the pictures, 3 other cyclists had to pass this scene.
Petzoldstraße, Linz,
Even concrete mixer trucks were managed to be parked correctly about 100m behind this spot.
Eisenhandstraße, Krankenhausstraße, Linz,
... to bring me some flowers and force me into traffic in the opposite direction of the one-way street?
Glimpfingerstraße, Linz,
At the end of this bidirectional bikelane, cyclists are intended to leave right as the arrow shows (pic. 1).
I guess that more often than not a little surprise is waiting just behind the hedge (pic. 2).
" ... I'm just waiting here!", that's what the driver told me. He didn't care about blocking the bidirectional bikelane.
Untere Donaulände, Linz,
Once again the ice stadion: Two trucks of Eggenberger brewery blocking bikelane and sidewalk. By the way, funny plate number
Freistädter Straße, Linz,
Diakoniewerk @ Färberböck: The driver just closed the doors and went away when he saw me taking pictures.
Altenberger Straße and Freistädter Straße, Linz,
I realized too late, that it was a SIEMENS van (they don't have any stickers on the back of there cars)
Untere Donaulände, Linz,
The car was still there when I came back from the city half an hour later. The man who was sitting in the car was looking fiercely and gestured wildly, so I didn't take another pic.
Freistädter Straße, Linz,
SUV, Trailer, and another van in the background is just leaving
Freistädter Straße, Linz,
at a construction site near Freistädter Straße. When I went on, I nearly had a crash with a car turning into the street on the left.
Freistädter Straße, Linz,
Pedestrians and cyclists (both directions) share a lane with the local scrap dealer Mr. D. Färberböck's customers.
Fadingerstraße, Linz,
As quite usual in Austria, cyclists are kept from trafic by building bike lanes on sidewalks.
